Regular Tape In Hair Extensions

Regular tape-in extensions are a semi-permanent hair extension method where thin, pre-taped wefts of hair are “taped” in between sections of your natural hair. The adhesive is medical-grade, safe for the scalp, and designed to hold for 6–8 weeks with proper care.

Each weft is sandwiched with your natural hair in between, creating a seamless and natural-looking blend. The process is quick (usually taking 45 minutes to an hour) and does not require heat or tools.

Regular maintenance includes repositioning the extensions every 6–8 weeks as your hair grows.

Tape-ins are popular because they’re lightweight, reusable, and offer a natural, flexible feel ideal for adding length and volume.

Micro Tape-In Hair Extensions

Micro tape-in extensions are a type of semi-permanent hair extension that combines the benefits of tape-in and micro-link methods. They use very small, thin tape wefts (typically 1 cm wide) to attach hair extensions close to the scalp, creating a more natural, lightweight, and discreet look.

Tape-In Row Hair Extensions

Tape-in row extensions are a semi-permanent method of adding length and volume to hair using thin, flat wefts of hair that are pre-taped with a medical-grade adhesive. These wefts are “sandwiched” on either side of a small section of natural hair, creating a discreet and natural look.

They’re applied in horizontal rows and lie flat against the scalp, making them comfortable and low-maintenance. Tape-in extensions typically last 6 to 8 weeks before needing to be reinstalled, and the hair can be reused with new adhesive tape. This method is popular for being lightweight, quick to apply, and less damaging than some other extension types.

Waterfall Method Sew-In Hair Extensions

Waterfall sew-in extensions are a type of hair extension technique where tracks of hair are sewn onto beaded sections of your natural hair in a cascading, layered pattern—similar to how water flows down a waterfall. This technique is designed to add volume and length while creating a natural, flowing look. It’s especially popular for achieving soft, layered styles with lots of movement.

The braids provide a secure base, and the extensions are sewn in for long-lasting wear, typically lasting 6 to 8 weeks with proper care.

Microlink Single Strand Hair Extensions

Microlink Individual Strand Extensions are a method of hair extension installation where small bundles of extension hair are attached to your natural hair using tiny, silicone-lined metal beads or “microlinks.” Each strand of extension is applied individually by threading a small section of your natural hair through the bead, inserting the extension, and then clamping the bead flat with pliers to secure it.

Key benefits include:

  • No heat or glue is used, making it less damaging than some other methods.
  • Extensions blend very naturally and move freely like your real hair.
  • They’re reusable and can last 2–3 months with proper maintenance.

This method works best for individuals with healthy, medium to thick hair and allows for flexible styling.
